For their first collaborative concert, the five choirs that form the South Cotswold Choral Group will perform Verdi’s exciting Requiem.

Accompanied by the Bristol Concert Orchestra, the performance will be conducted by Nigel Perrin.

With two hundred singers and an orchestra of eighty players, the beautiful space of Tewkesbury Abbey will be gloriously filled on 4th June, 2011.

The five societies got together as a way of performing large works that would stretch the resources of individual provincial choirs; initially, places for the Big Cotswold Sing are only open to members of those choirs. You should obtain an application form and book your place through your own society.
