In August 2003, during the TCS ‘closed’ season, about twenty members got together and formed a chamber choir.
The original concept was: just for fun, just for a month, no concert, no cost.
This year, for a change, the Summer Sing is being themed with our September workshop:
Exploring European Sacred Music.
We will use the same music, European Sacred Music edited by John Rutter,
doing groundwork on some pieces in preparation for the workshop and learning others just for our own pleasure.
As in previous years, the Summer Sing will be led by John Hicks.
