Tyndale Choral Society - Website Report (2007)
A completely new version of the website was launched for the 2007 season.
Content and design reflected input provided by members in the ‘first birthday survey’;
details, hints and tips can be found in the document: ‘
all change’.
Use of the site, measured by the number of pages viewed per month, doubled in 2007.
In December, 3105 pages were requested during 751 site visits.
To improve the currency of information,
committee members now contribute and maintain their own news items directly on the website.
Similarly, all members can use the on-line
noticeboard
for messages, advertisements and announcements.

A breakdown of direct expenditure is shown in the table on the right; the total for 2007 was £62.61.
As all outgoings associated with the website were matched by hypothecated donations, there was no cost to the society.

Revenue from the
TCS on-line shop
continued to rise (up 37%); the total for 2007 was £232.96.
The table on the right is the breakdown for the year and the graph below shows quarterly income since launch.
The addition of new merchants in 2007 (M & S and John Lewis) has enriched our offering while maintaining quality.
